Mike Lash

Michael Lash, native of North Carolina where he grew up learning what he knows about life. Michael worked in the Textile business for 21 years of his career, out of those 21 years Michael was part of management for 13 years. The Textile Industry slowly moved oversees which caused Michael to change careers, that’s how he ended up transitioning into the Candle business. Michael has been in the Candle Industry managing for 8 years enabling him to use his 21 years of management experience to achieve his goals. Michael’s education and training has been tied to managing people throughout his career. Michael greatest achievements while being employed at Hot Wax Candle Company was to set goals to reduce labor cost. In April of 2002 plans were put into place and we saved 1,000,000 dollars in labor cost the first year after setting these goals. Mr. David Oreck purchased the Hot Wax Candle Facility in June of 2004 and Michael was hired by Mr. David Oreck in December as the Production Manager. Michael enjoys working with people which gives him an opportunity to teach and train others the art of manufacturing candles. Michael is married with one daughter and some of his hobbies include oil painting, singing and working in the church doing whatever needs to be done.
